About Mars Challenge
Mars Challenge is a global educational initiative that uses space as a framework to accelerate innovation, young talent and sustainable solutions applicable on both Earth and Mars.
Powered by Virtual Educa and Space Talent Lab 2030, the program engages 15-29 year-olds – the Zers – in an annual impactful experience: an interplanetary hackathon that challenges participants to prototype technologies for extreme contexts.
Each year addresses one of the 7 key elements: Water, Earth, Air, Fire, Consciousness, Technology and Balance, with a focus aligned to the SDGs.
