From registration to action, from prototype to real impact.
HackImpacto is structured in phases that accompany participants from registration to implementation of the most promising solutions.
Each phase is an opportunity to learn, collaborate and showcase your talent.

Phase1
Registration and activation
- Open to young people from 15 to 29 years old (Zers), educational institutions, mentors, companies and strategic allies.
- By registering, you enter the Mars Challenge global community and gain access to pre-hackathon resources.

Phase 2
Thematic sessions and prior preparation
- Online conferences and workshops with international experts.
- Introduction to the challenges of Element Earth 2026 and its connection to Mars.
- Spaces for networking and community building prior to the hackathon.

Phase3
National or Virtual HackImpact
- Formation of multidisciplinary teams (you can arrive alone and we will assign you a team).
- Technical and strategic mentoring throughout the event.
- Presentation of projects before a specialized jury.

Phase4
Selection and development of finalist projects
- National or regional winning teams move on to the development phase.
- Access to advanced mentoring, resources and partnerships to mature the prototype.
- Preparation for the Madrid 2026 International Final.

Phase5
International Final - Madrid 2026
- It brings together the best teams from each country and one extra team per multi-country challenge.
- Presentation to international juries and media.
- Recognition of outstanding teams and mentors.
